Linkin Park es una banda estadounidense fundada en Agoura Hills, Los Ángeles, California en 1996, conformada por Chester Bennington (voz), Mike Shinoda (voz, teclado, guitarra y sampler), David Farrell (Bajo), Joe Hahn (sampler), Brad Delson (guitarra) y Rob Bourdon (batería).
Su estilo ha sido el nu metal y rap metal (característico de ellos); sin embargo, en su álbum Minutes to Midnight cambiaron a un estilo más suave y orientado al rock alternativo; posteriomente con su más reciente disco A Thousand Suns registra un estilo muy experimental. La banda ha vendido hasta ahora más de 65 millones de discos y ha recibido dos premios Grammy.
Con la llegada de su cuarto álbum A Thousand Suns al Billboard 200, se convierte en el cuarto álbum consecutivo de la banda en alcanzar n.º 1 en la lista en su primera semana de ventas.En el 2010, el grupo es nominado por la MTV a Mejor Artista Rock y a Mejor Directo ganando este último.
